A Brief Overview
The UH Connor Integrative Health Network is seeking a highly motivated intern to serve as the research assistant for research projects and initiatives throughout the department.
What You Will Do Recruit and/or interview study subjects Travel to different locations to collect data as needed Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary Manage and reply to project-related correspondence Provide flexible administrative support as needed Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education Bachelor's Degree with a strong record of academic achievement required Work Experience Prior experience handling research responsibilities. (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to work independently but know when to seek help (Required proficiency) Sophisticated interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information and to interact at all levels of the organization (Required proficiency) Ability to multitask and prioritize (Required proficiency) Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when concerns arise (Required proficiency) Proven written, research, analytical and oral communication skills (Required proficiency) High degree of technical proficiency on Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed (Required proficiency) Position Details/Preferred Qualifications
Must have strong computer, written, oral, and analytic skills. Previous research experience is strongly preferred. The position is PRN and will work within the structure of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm - based on business needs. There is required travel between our Connor outpatient clinics: Parma, Westlake, and Beachwood, and our Cleveland Medical Center.
