Process Support Engineer

Daily process monitoring, troubleshooting and analyze process data in order to improve utilities efficiencies and prevent incidents. Develop, implement and measure productivity improvements, cost reductions, efficiency increase programs and ideas. Detect, prevent and maintain utilities systems by monitoring operations and analyzing process data in order to improve product quality prevent efficiency losses with proper and on time troubleshooting. Maintain up to date Basic Operating Procedures (BOP's) and assure that they are in compliance with applicable regulations. Train operating personal on new process changes, new equipment and revised/new operating procedures. Investigate, evaluate and document process deviations and determine the impact on product quality and/or economic impact. Responsible to implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality systems in utilities. Investigate, evaluate, document and follow up the completion of the corrective actions on Utilities systems events. Provide technical assistance to operation and maintenance sections. Provide technical assistance to the QA section in the development and execution of validation activities. Develop and justify capital projects ideas. Evaluate and implement new process and equipment technology. Lead water treatment program and water conservation activities. Assure that all necessary operational and environmental data are collected and regulatory agencies report are submitted. Generate preliminary event notifications within 24 hrs. after their occurrence in the operation Respond to microbial alert and action situations, and coordinate the establishment of the cleaning schedules to meet the control criteria, and devise facility and equipment cleaning methods for special applications. Available to work on 1st shift but to be on-call after working hours. BS in Engineering, preferable Mechanical Engineering. Four to Six years of experience in Manufacturing Environment and Utilities, specifically in Project/Process or Equipment/Utilities Engineering or similar roles. Proven ability to effectively meet project goals by established dates in team setting. Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
