Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, design, and implement production processes, ensure new product designs can be manufactured, and maintain the molding processes in production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities Provides day-to-day technical support for the processes engineering in the plant. Addresses internal and external customer complaints, conducts investigations, develops root cause analysis, determines countermeasures, and documents - using NAL problem solving methods. Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on time. Coordinates the design and purchase of new equipment, and manages installation and start-up. Identifies Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs. Develops and updates/improves check sheets for all production equipment for preventative maintenance and machine condition. Requirements Your Background
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience.
