Production Lead

Great job opportunity as Production Lead:
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities of improvements and leadership development in key operators.
Reporting production data to managers regarding to downtime description and yield.
Responsible of all engineering support like PM’s documentation and execution according to an established production plan.
In charge of process improvement to reduce scrap rate, increase operational yield and machine up time.
Audit of forklift inspection documents as requested by OSHA. Selected Accomplishments:
Pallet wrapping system improvement to reduce downtime during cartoon sheets refill. Normal refilling consists into manually place the cartoon sheets to refill the machine dispenser. This process takes around 10 minutes of downtime and a risk to stack the cartoon layers out of position. Modification were implemented into the machine guard increasing the space in order to use a forklift to remove the empty dispenser and replace it with another one filled previously, reducing the downtime in 70% approximately.
