Are you looking for a logistics management role that allows you to accelerate product distribution and drive efficiency? If so, t role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

As a Production Scheduler, you will develop production schedule and perform capacity analysis for manufacturing and packaging operations. Coordinate activities to achieve productivity initiatives on product labor and cost standards. Support Operations Managers in the development of department budgets. Assess improvement of labor processes and optimum utilization of existing resources. Responsible for identifying and complete operational improvement initiatives related to manufacturing and packaging processes.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Develop production schedule and perform capacity analysis for manufacturing and packaging operations.
Coordinate activities to achieve productivity initiatives on product labor and cost standards.
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, aiming to increase efficiency and productivity, while reducing non-value added activities. Generate cost analysis data to support these recommendations.
Develop strategies and methods to identify productivity initiatives aimed to enhance operational competitiveness s, while supporting Engineering Department through the justification of Capital Projects.
Establish standardized working methods to optimize utilization of resources (human, machine, time and materials) in activities related to improvement of manufacturing/packaging operations improvements. If required, implement systems for monitor performance against standard budgeted costs.
Monitor performance and improvements key metrics, such as OEE and RTE, followed by corrective actions on such improvement opportunities.
Review production schedules, equipment performance and manufacturing throughputs to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities.
Support Operation’s Management in developing direct labor and material standards according to product structures, while reporting year to year standard changes and related labor and material savings.
Support Operations Managers in the development of department budgets
Create/develop the database required for Long-Range Capacity Operational Plan and labor standard goals.
Estimate production cost and impact of new products/technology impact on Site for Management review, action and control.
Evaluate improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions thru the application of Lean/Sigma (RFT) Tools.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

BS in Industrial Engineering
Minimum three years experience in manufacturing and/or production environment, with solid experienced on Lean Manufacturing Techniques. (Kaizen, 5S, Process Mapping, Pull System-Kankan).
Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office, Windows, Stat graphics)
Experience and knowledge of cGMP

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Yellow or Green belts certification is preferred
Proven ability to anticipate and solve problems.
Able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in managing production standards.
