Job Summary: The Risk and Compliance Coordinator is a role within Canary focused on supporting the Information Security Risk and Compliance team with day-to-day risk and compliance tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining critical registers, updating vendor and software security assessments, managing documentation, and assisting with the preparation of documents for audits and security meetings. The role is essential in ensuring that the company remains compliant with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO27001, while also supporting the IT and Security teams broader initiatives.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Basic understanding of threat intelligence, risk management, and regulatory requirements such as PCI and ISO27001. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while supporting the broader team's goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with GRC tools is a plus. Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and reliability in handling sensitive information, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Expertise in creating visually appealing and professional Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, enhancing readability and presentation quality.
