To be proactive I would like this to be collected from the agency prior to start rather than have to track when each of them hit 100 hours worked or 30 calendar days after start. This needs to start happening now since this was effective 1/1/21. The program must a a certificate of completion upon finishing. Except as provided in subdivision (l), beginning January 1, 2021, for seasonal, temporary, or other employees that are hired to work for less than six months, an employer shall provide training within 30 calendar days after the hire date or within 100 hours worked, whichever occurs first. In the case of a temporary employee employed by a temporary services employer, as defined in Section 201.3 of the Labor Code, to perform services for clients, the training shall be provided by the temporary services employer, not the client.
