Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday & every 3rd weekend
Pay Rate: $55 per hour

At Park Avenue Extended Care, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our residents in a compassionate and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated RN Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain the excellence that we strive for every day.

Position Summary:
The RN Supervisor will oversee the management of resident/patient care and nursing staff activities during the assigned shift. This role is critical in ensuring that all care is provided in alignment with our high standards and in compliance with institutional and departmental policies. As an RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining unit operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring that residents receive the care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of resident/patient care plans, ensuring that all care meets specialized needs. Direct, supervise, instruct, and evaluate nursing staff, including new nursing staff during orientation. Participate in In-service programs and continuing education opportunities, guiding other staff in these activities. Audit charts and care plans to ensure documentation meets State Health Department requirements. Investigate resident/patient occurrences, including suspected or actual abuse, and report findings as required. Maintain resident/patient and unit records to comply with regulatory agency standards. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and the Unit Manager, fostering open communication and teamwork. Assist in maintaining unit statistics and preparing necessary reports for Nursing Administration. Provide timely staff evaluations and address performance issues effectively. Manage medical emergencies, ensuring appropriate personnel are contacted. Complete assessments and obtain physician orders for new admissions. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN license to practice in the State of New York. Current CPR certification. Supervisory experience, particularly in a nursing home setting, is strongly preferred. Why Join Us:
