As a Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator , you will be integral to our projects across the nation, providing detailed cost assessments and facilitating project planning from conception to execution. This remote role requires precision and expertise to ensure that all estimates align with technical specifications and financial objectives. The position requires at least 10% travel to project sites and client meetings. Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate, comprehensive estimates for large commercial roofing projects. Analyze and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and proposals. Utilize Edge Estimating Software to perform detailed take-offs and simulate project costs. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to gather all necessary data for bids and estimates. Assess potential risks, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose optimization strategies for project bidding. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and regulations. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in commercial roofing estimation. Proven track record of managing and delivering estimates for multi-million dollar projects. Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials and construction techniques. Required proficiency in Edge Estimating Software. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and computer skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively articulating cost details and projections to stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple project estimates concurrently. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time for site visits and client meetings.
