As a Drainage Engineer, you will be involved in the company's transportation design projects, and will: Grow and manage the Florida drainage group Participate in project marketing, work planning, scope development and fee estimating Meet with key clients, particularly within FDOT, to share your and the team's ideas for solving complex issues with innovative solutions Participate in marketing strategy sessions for project pursuits and prepare proposals and presentations. Perform discipline leader duties required to successfully deliver the project within scope, schedule, and budget to the client's satisfaction Stay abreast of new and innovative approaches to solving stormwater and drainage design challenges Coordinate with multiple disciplines across Tetra Tech's broad US geography Perform design and analysis of roadway stormwater treatment and conveyance systems, including storm sewers, culverts, inlets, retention/detention ponds, roadside ditches, and other stormwater management facilities. Prepare plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with FDOT, FDEP, and water management district standards Perform quality control and checking of drainage designs and plans developed by others What kind of candidate are we looking for?
