As a Senior Logistics Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes and data related to different aspects of the supply chain. Your main tasks will include identifying opportunities for improvement and developing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with various logistics service providers, A/P, finance, global sourcing, and individual logistics teams to ensure accurate cost reporting on freight and small parcel billing. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.
What You'll Do: Support the implementation of a Transportation Management System.Create reports and KPIs, analyze data to monitor domestic and international transportation carrier performance, and identify trends and challenges.Duties include managing and deep-diving into logistics/billing data to identify discrepancies, trends, and cost-reduction opportunities.Establish and provide regular reports and data on specific areas of the logistics process, such as supplier analysis and transportation costs.Prepare reports on logistics performance measures that may impact cost and make recommendations based on findings and analysis.Support the Monthly and quarterly reports for finance.Actively participate in transportation alignment and tracking performance.Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs and their various slice such as cost per kgs., cost per part, cost per load, etc.Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimization through data evaluation.Maintain Transportation master data and configurations - business partners, transportation network, carrier profiles, trade lanes, default routes/route types, mode/methods of transport, and transportation resources.Prepare and submit RFPs, evaluate responses, and monitor GMI initiatives across logistics.Work closely with supply planning to close any gaps in the forecast of products affecting the freight forecast and align it with budgets.Collaborate with the manager and other appropriate staff to resolve issues and provide additional analytical support as required.Experience You'll Bring Required 6+ years of experience in any of the following areas: Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Financial Analysis.Exceptional analytical skills regarding logistics analysis, data manipulation, and the ability to create information from data.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time with the ability to meet project timelines.Experience with Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software, Enterprise resource planning ERP software, Analytical or scientific software, or Enterprise resource planning ERP software.Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications.Preferred Skills Experience Transportation Management Systems and Real Time Transportation Visibility Platforms.Apply Now * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
