We are currently seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our dedicated center of excellence at Dotmatics. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Scientists to design industry-changing experiences for our millions of users. Your designs will impact the scientific understanding of biology, chemistry, and microbiology and contribute to our company-wide objective of improving user experience.
Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of experience design, collaborating with product managers and engineers to ensure desirability, feasibility, and viability.Create user flows, site maps, and wireframes to clearly articulate experience design concepts.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product insights to maintain high standards in design quality.Mentor and inspire other members of the Product Design team to foster a culture of creativity.Present experience design concepts and strategies, incorporating insights collected throughout the design process.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or relevant experience.Minimum of 7 years of experience as a UX or Product Designer.Strong portfolio demonstrating design process and high-fidelity products.Proficiency in Figma, with experience using design system components, variables, and properties.Experience delivering complex projects and working with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Ability to organize and structure content effectively, including creating site maps, user flows, and navigation systems.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and building interactive prototypes in Figma is a plus.Experience with Chromatic and/or Storybook, digital accessibility standards and regulations, and content strategy is a plus.At Dotmatics, we understand that the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can prevent outstanding candidates from applying.
