Description Main Purpose of the Job
As a server, you will be responsible to take care of guests by recording and fulfilling their food and drink orders. A restaurant server is responsible for creating memorable dining experiences. To do this, you need to be able to create rapport with your customers. You'll need to be personable, upbeat, and efficient, and be able to anticipate diners' needs. It's up to you to provide exceptional customer service. Being a restaurant server requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the desire to provide amazing customer service and a love of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Main Duties
•Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service.
•Have a general knowledge of the food menu and recommend and upsell food and drink products
•Follow the steps of service of the server position
•Greet and seat customers
•Take food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
•Make menu item recommendations
•Communicate any food allergy or special nutritional needs to kitchen staff
•Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
•Provide attentive service to diners like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
•Promptly address any customer service issues and refer to management when is necessary
•Perform side work such as some cleaning duties,at the service station and dining area
Working Conditions
•Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
•Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment
•Must agree to background check
•Must be available to work during the critical and crowded hours of the operation of the restaurant - lunch and dinner shifts. Willing to work nights, weekends, and holiday.
•Expect to work more than 35 hours a week. Hours may vary.

Position Requirements Candidate profile:
•3 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
•At least 1 year experience as a server in upscale or fine dining serving experience
•High school diploma or equivalent. College degree is desirable
•Wine and cockatils knowledge is preferred.
•Menu knowledge and experience with Italian food is preffered
•Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
•Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification & TABC
•Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
•Must be eligible to work in the United States
