STAFFING COORDINATOR / 40 HOURS / ROTATING / NICU CWN6 GENERAL OVERVIEW
This position provides staffing support to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nursing department, utilizing the UKG Timekeeping system proficiently. The staffing coordinator reports to the Nurse Directors and Operations Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Reviews staffing daily, (shift by shift) receives information about special unit needs and unplanned absences.
2.Use pre-planned schedules and information from Nursing Directors/ Operations Manager about unit status, plans and arranges for additional help for the week as necessary.
3.Prepares 4-week time schedules in keeping with approved staffing requirements and in conformity with Hospital policy and MNA contract.
4.Updates UKG system daily with actual staffing for NICU nurses, Unit Coordinators.
5.Prepares assigned weekly payroll: researches payroll errors and questions for employees.
6.Performs data collection and supplies information in format appropriate for use.
7.Completes special projects as assigned
8.Communicates with staff, managers, and directors in a clear, complete and professional manner.
9.Responsible for creating special orders for various NICU therapies and maintaining stock.
SKILLS AND ABILIITIES REQUIRED

3.Effective communication skills, via phone, in-person, and via email.
4.Organized.
5.Proficient computer skills required: Excel, Microsoft teams, microsoft word.
Work involves multiple and often simultaneous demands/requests via phone and in person.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Demonstrated customer service skills.
2.Highschool diploma required with 4 years of customer service experience.
3.Associates degree or higher accepted with limited experience.
3.UKG and excel experience preferred.
4.Experience working in a fast paced environment.
