Job Posting Description This Sterile Supply Transporter will be responsible for:Transporting supplies and equipment from Sterile Processing Department to appropriate departments within the Hospital in accordance with established safety policiesLoading and unloading, sterilization and assembly of tools to the appropriate cartsUtilizing proper body mechanics training in all transport activitiesDemonstrating efficiency and productivity in transporting necessary equipment in a timely and appropriate mannerTransporting soiled instruments from the Clinics to the Sterile Processing Department within the HospitalDelivering sterile instruments from the sterile Processing Department to the Clinic locations within the hospitalPutting away supplies and sterile trays in the appropriate locationsDocumenting daily operational checks and records for all sterilization equipmentPerforming routine scanning of the instrumentation and ensuring accurate locations in the SPM databaseBreaking down cancelled cases and putting away supplies and instruments as neededUnloading cart washer and organizing instrument containersTo qualify, you must have:A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredOne year of experience in health care or a warehouse settingThe ability to present ideas and information in a timely, concise, effective and interpersonally appropriate mannerThe ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to identify issues and opportunities, collect appropriate information, effectively process information and make timely and effective decisions to improve outcomesThe ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with others**Multiple shifts available
