A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develops proactive Supplier and Stakeholder relationships.
Ensures compliance with client procurement policies, guidelines, and processes
Mitigates risk, leverages technology and purchase power, improves processes and systems, and reduces overall cost of ownership and acquisition.
Negotiates, establishes and monitors supplier agreements.
Exposure to supply chain, planning, purchasing, materials, inventory controls, manufacturing and sourcing environment
.
Must Have:Minimum Requirements
Educational: Business Administration, Engineering or related field
Experience:
Intermediate Level:3+ Years with Bachelors or 0 Years with Masters
Nice to have:
Experience in Staffing, Recruiting or Contingent workforce management
Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
Exposure to supply chain, planning, purchasing, materials, inventory controls, manufacturing and sourcing environment
Experience in leading and influencing negotiations, project management, troubleshooting and problem solving analysis, strategic thinking and collaborative team building
Knowledge of procurement/planning principles, regulations, theories and processes.
Understanding and experience with integrated manufacturing software systems
Working knowledge of Demand Flow, JIT, K-Loop, Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge of industry terminology, processes, work-flow and materials.
Experience in a continuous improvement environment with a track record of achieving significant savings year over year
Strong customer service skills and written and verbal communication
Familiarity with Fieldglass or another VMS (Vendor Managed System)

Qualifications Background
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry
APICS, CPIM or CIRM certification
Knowledge in MRP/ERP and inventory control systems
Working knowledge of APS (Advanced Planning Systems) or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Experience with supplier alliances, partnership agreements, supply chain management contracts and negotiating pricing &complex agreement.
