Supply Chain Intern

This position is located in De Soto, KS. Position Overview: The Supply Chain Intern will assist the supply chain team in various activities, including inventory management, logistics coordination, supplier relations, and data analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain management and learn the intricacies of logistics and procurement. Approximately 15-20 hours per week, on site.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Support the coordination of shipments, including tracking and documentation. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in the supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues. Help prepare and maintain supply chain reports, records, and documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies and projects. Provide administrative support to the supply chain team as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supply chain manager. Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Basic understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
