PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION Describe the purpose of this position:
Responsible for the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) in the Site and for providing support to the Learning andOrganizational Solutions Management Department. This position must comply with all security guidelines, environmental health and safety regulations and the current good manufacturing practices required by the job function
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: State the most important activities and accountabilities of this position. Describe how these activities and accountabilities can influence the achievement of departmental or business goals. (Attach additional sheets if needed):
Percentage of time
1. Administers and recommends improvement opportunities for the site LMS and escalates software technical problems.
2. Enters the training data into the LMS including but not limited to training records, curricula maintenance. Also communicate to functional areas correction necessary in training documents to expedite data entry.
3. Administers the records retention process and ensure proper filing of training documents.
4. Administers and custodies external and internal training documentation records and certifications and audits completed training documentation for accuracy.
5. Generates, if required, metrics and reports related to the training performance (ex. monthly training compliance reports for the areas).
6. Prepares training materials (creates and updates courses, modules, curriculums, reports and schedules, reviews and proofreads courses content-including on line courses- for accuracy and thoroughness as required) and; may require to provide training of the Learning Management System and/or other basic training such as Outlook, New Hire, Customer Service.
7. Provides support to users on technical inquires and coordinates the solutions with Global Learning and Development Services and the Training Electronic Application support Group.
8. Provides administrative support to the Learning and Organizational Solutions Management function and OJT Specialists in duties such as: retrieves documentation to internal customers and for internal and external inspections, and support the documentation change request control to assure curriculum maintenance and in simplifying training curricula.
9. Provides supports during audits and government inspections related activities such as documentation retrieval.
KNOWLEDGE: Describe the type and extent to which knowledge of a specific type is required to perform this job in a satisfactory manner. Where skills can be obtained through formal training /
education and experience, list the type and amount of education and experience that would typically prepare someone for this position:
? Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Sciences or Computer System.
? Three (3) years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
? Two (2) years experience with training/education documentation related field.
? Proficient knowledge and working experience in website or supporting software applications and PC, especially in Word Processing, Power Point, Excel and Adobe presenter.
? Knowledge on Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices
? Detail oriented
? Experience in training material development and training delivery
? Willing to work irregular hours, rotaries shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 /hour
Experience:
Pharmaceutical: 3 years (Required)
