Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty: Central Sterile Processing Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Experience: 3 years of experience required License: Must be licensed Certifications: CSP Certification, BLS required Must-Have: Must be able to report to the Facility within 30 minutes; no exceptions. Job Description: - Work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. - Be available for on-call responsibilities, ensuring you can report to the facility within the required time frame. - Utilize expertise in sterile processing to ensure all instruments and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed. - Maintain and troubleshoot sterilization equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel. - Document and track sterilization processes and quality assurance checks. - Assist in training and orienting new sterile processing staff as needed.
