About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President for a prominent brand with a strong cultural and lifestyle focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the brand's PR and strategic marketing efforts, with a particular emphasis on the LGBTQ+ community. This role demands a professional who is deeply immersed in culture, and who can bring a creative and strategic approach to the table. Candidates for the VP role at the company should be adept at managing a team, fostering a collaborative work environment, and have a genuine passion for the brand's values and mission.

The VP will be expected to have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a PR agency, with a robust background in earned media, and a proven track record of leadership, emotional intelligence, and mentorship. The position requires a hands-on leader who is not afraid to push the boundaries with out-of-the-box ideas and is willing to be in the office for a portion of the week. The role is not just about industry experience; it is about the ability to adapt and apply core PR principles across different sectors. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in PR, with a focus on transferable skills such as chemistry fit, attitude, writing, work ethic, creativity, tenacity, and strategic acumen. A genuine interest in following and making news, as well as a history of past success, are essential.
