The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing impact evaluation strategies, establishing outcome measures for programs and policy initiatives, and ensuring data-driven decision-making. This role involves managing a multi-year research agenda, conducting policy research, and fostering partnerships with external stakeholders. The VP will also be instrumental in establishing a quality improvement plan, leading a high-functioning team, and contributing to the organization's revenue strategy by translating research and evidence into funding opportunities.

Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in applied research and leadership within a nonprofit setting, with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field. Strong knowledge of research principles, design, and methodologies is essential, as is a proven track record of producing and translating research into practice. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and influence across the organization, and a strong background in social sciences. Experience in data analytics, and visualization, and a successful history of building evidence-based strategies are also key qualifications. The ideal candidate will be adept at operational execution, setting and achieving organizational goals, and will be committed to the values of racial justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
