Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience. This includes taking orders from several tables at once, serving individual courses, clearing plates between courses and refilling drinks.
Responsibilities are under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor and/or the Restaurant Manager.
Qualification Standards
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of serving experience required.
At least one year of progressive experience in a resort, restaurant or related field preferred.
Must possess a professional presentation.
Must be bilingual (Spanish & English).
Physical Requirements:
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Ability to lift and exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and kneeling.
Duties & Functions: Essential
Communicate with other staff members to ensure that orders are delivered to guests in a timely manner.
Present food items and drink selections to customers, answering any questions they may have about the menu items, and helping them make decisions on ordering.
Suggest additional items that can be paired with entrees based on ingredients or flavor profiles to increase sales.
Explain the menu and specials to customers and answering any questions they may have about them.
Take orders and serve alcoholic beverages to guests who are of legal age to drink in accordance with state liquor laws.
Perform other duties as requested by management.

Pay: $3.50 per hour
