Summary/Objective

Receives all production materials, equipment, spare parts and operational supplies delivered to Romark Manati operations, performs required reconciliations and verifications, and processes receiving documentation and labeling of materials. Stores materials and products, transfers to production areas, receives materials, WIP and Finished Product from Production for storage or shipment to Romark Distribution Centers or Customers. Issues and verifies documentation related to all warehouse processes such as Receiving Documents, Packing Lists, and Material Transfers, Material Returns, and Packing/Shipping Lists, ensuring material reconciliations and documentation accuracy and compliance. Performs related inventory transactions in ERP systems and on a timely basis. Performs all warehouse tasks in compliance with GMP, SOX, EHS & Safety guidelines and SOPs.

Essential Functions
Receives and verifies identity, quantity and physical condition of materials, parts or products received in the warehouse. Unloads product, inspect trailers, generates required receiving documentation, including any documentation required for claims to carriers or suppliers in the case any damages or discrepancies are identified upon product receipt, and issues receiving documentation to required functional teams such as QA, Purchasing and Finance. Communicates to requisitioners when parts, equipment or supplies purchased have been received to coordinate pickup or delivery to their corresponding areas.
Serves as ERP Subject Matter Expert for Inventory Management modules in system implementations, upgrades, improvement or automation initiatives, including process development, testing, and end user trainings.
Assigns unique identifying number (lot number) to all production materials (direct materials) received, maintains lot number register, labels all containers, and stores materials in specified areas according to material status or specified storage locations.
Performs material dispatches to production per material transfer documents, ensuring accurate quantities are dispatched, verified and documented, and SOP’s are followed related to material status, labeling, and relevant FIFO/FAFO dispatching policies.
Processes all warehouse inventory transactions in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing, including product and material receipts and shipments, transfers and returns from Production, inventory adjustments, warehouse movements and warehouse location updates.
Operates forklift, hand trucks, shrink wrappers, pallet inverters and/or drum lifters required for transfer or movement of materials and product within the warehouse and production areas. Ensures safety and GMP guidelines are always followed in handling of warehouse equipment.
Serve as a company messenger performing office related errands, such as post office, bank, etc., as needed.
Performs essential warehouse maintenance functions such as cleaning pallets, warehouse rack cleaning, changing chart recorders, re-palletizing materials, shrink-wrapping materials, and others as assigned.
Manages disposal of material waste and rejected materials/products; prepares required documentation.
Communicates with carriers for delivery and shipment of materials and product in and out of the facility.
Works with site functional teams to align warehouse activities with site changing priorities. Works closely with Production Planning for guidance on receiving, dispatching and shipping priorities and with QC Incoming inspectors for warehouse movements required for sampling of materials/product.
Maintains warehouse area clean and organized, ensuring GMP, EHS and Safety guidelines and requirements.
Escalates any potential problems to Warehouse Supervisor for investigation or resolution, such as material defects/damages, reconciliation or material identification discrepancies, safety observations, documentation discrepancies, etc.
Performs inventory cycle counting following predetermined yearly counting plans, documents inventory counts and investigates/reconciles inventory discrepancies. Participates in yearly physical inventory, as needed.
Maintains a professional housekeeping system for workspace and related areas to assure a clean, orderly, safe and secure environment.
Stays current with the plant’s training curriculum and certifications requirements.
Works overtime as required.
Adheres to daily work assignments.
Adheres and be flexible to rotating schedules/shifts as needed per plant requirements.
Able to work at any day of the week, and any shift of the day as required by plant needs. Participate and able to work on holidays as needed.
Any other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred. A minimum of 2 years of work related experience.
Experience working with ERP systems, specifically from a Warehouse Management and GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Some proven experience in problem solving, planning, organizing, and time management preferred.
Solid Customer Service skills, with both internal and external customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, ratios, interpret bar graphs; ability to apply the concepts of basic mathematics such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
Have the ability to work in a variety of team settings.
