Description
This position is responsible for engaging, qualifying and closing new major corporate accounts for service and ongoing maintenance programs. Additional duties include, but not limited to; managing multiple accounts; research clients and markets; meeting clients; ensuring the needs of clients are met and conducting consistent follow up visits; up selling existing contracts and offering the full spectrum of services; interacting with the operations team; and ensuring individual tasks are aligned with the team's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will interact with the local operations team to ensure service delivery is aligned with the client's strategic goals.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for ensuring the client's needs are addressed with the appropriate services; recommends additional services to the client to address unidentified issues; and creates a strong working relationship with the clientAdheres to sales objectives by selling new business, aligning individual goals and tasks to the Company's strategic planDevelops and enhances knowledge of the client's facilities to became an asset and to create and maintain a long-term partnershipAdjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, historical sales, regional trends and supply and demandBuilds a solid working partnership with the operations teamMaintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal network; participating in professional societies and attending professional development workshopsKeeps the sales team informed of developments, issues, concerns, regional influential factors and strategic plans to obtain established goalsContributes to team effort; manages data in CRM; and provides accurate reportingCommunicate issues, concerns and questions to supervisor EXPECTED RESULTS Effectively manage client relationships and establish new lines of service to increase company sales and gross profit. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of sales experience in a service, manufacturing or installation related field required; janitorial, facility maintenance, property management FM industry experience desiredDemonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, principles and practicesKnowledge of establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demandProficient skills in Microsoft Office suite and CRM required.Professional personal presentationPossess problem-solving, organizational and team working skillsAbility to adapt sales approach to adhere to the strategic sales plan to achieve gross-profit and sales goalsAbility to work under pressure, handle changing priorities, manage time and achieve desired objectives while meeting deadlinesAbility to communicate verbally and in writing to achieve sales and contractual objectivesAbility to adjust scheduled to meet business needs
