Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to mentor junior staff.
Duties
Own the accounting and balance sheet reconciliation process. Be the primary user of the internally built automated accounting software and be a constant source of ideas for improvement of the technology and the surrounding process.
Provide support for treasury management, including managing accounts, transfers, and funding requirements.
Collaborate with traders and technologists to streamline operational workflows, identify automation opportunities, and improve processes.
Assist in onboarding new clients, counterparties, and financial institutions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance procedures are followed.
Coordinate with external vendors to maintain up to date corporate docs for all legal entities and maintain annual compliance with reporting and filing requirements.
Requirements
Attitude:
Must be willing to independently learn new skills and solve your own problems. Help and expertise are available from other team members, but cannot spoon feed.
Experience:
3+ years in accounting, finance, trading operations or related field
Education
: Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. CPA, CFA, or advanced degrees are a plus.
Technical Skills
: Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheet is an absolute must. Any experience with SQL, databases, or any other data analysis tools is a big plus but definitely not required.
Analytical Skills
: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for discrepancies, trends, and operational efficiencies.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving
: Proven ability to handle complex operational issues in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
