Accounting Analyst

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Record monthly journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions.
• Participate in the monthly closing of accounting records.
• Conduct monthly working papers and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Review and process disbursements/reimbursements to guarantee compliance with financial policies.
• Review and pre-approve invoices for payment processing.
• Manage monthly bank reconciliations to monitor cash flows, including income registration and other deposits.
• Preparation of the annual budget.
• Analyze budget variances monthly
• Prepare financial forecasts and conduct periodic budget reviews to assess financial performance.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports as assigned.
Requisitos:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on Accounting from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Prior experience in the marketing or consumer industry and non-profit is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced accounting knowledge are essential for this role.
• Experience working with external auditors and understanding compliance and regulatory oversight.
• Proficiency in technology, including advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
• Full bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
