Accounting Clerk

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Accommodation and Food Services industry. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for managing accounts, processing invoices, and performing bank reconciliations. Your attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will be expected to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associated grade in Accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Accommodation and Food Services industry
Responsibilities:
Process invoices and manage accounts payable
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
Assist with job costing and accruals
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Skills:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will use your skills in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, job costing, managing accounts, accruals, and account reconciliation on a daily basis. Your ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, and have a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask to ensure accurate financial reporting.
