Responsibilities:
Ensures integrity of financial records by maintaining internal controls in compliance with GAAP. Leads month-end close process. Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights into the company's performance and trends. Oversees timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensures alignment of departments and strategic goals. Cash management with daily cash balance monitoring. Monitors company project costs and profitability. Oversees inventory processes including valuation, reconciliation, and physical inventory counts. Proactively initiates various projects to increase the efficiency and profitability of the business. Calculates and pays sales taxes for multiple states. Leads and supports external audits and reviews. Prepares ROI to support various business cases and capital investments. Manages institutional investment funds. Processes government request for data (US Census, EEOC). Identifies opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Oversees payroll processing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, operational accounting, and financial reporting. High degree of comfort and familiarity with general ledger, financial reporting, and other accounting systems. 8+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing setting. Microsoft Dynamics, Paylocity experience desired. Advanced MS Excel skills required. Experience with Business Intelligence and/or relational databases. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting. Experience with 401k and profit-sharing processing desired. Ability to manage multiple projects. Salary: $120-130k+, based on experience
