A CPG company near DTLA is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for month-end close, overseeing AR, and reconciling fixed assets and prepaids. What do you need for this Accounting Manager role?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 5-10 years of accounting experience Must have inventory and/or industry related experience Must have supervisory experience and/or experience reviewing the work of others
What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?
Own the month-end close
Process accruals, post journal entries, and financial reporting Oversee AP and AR Act as SME for GAAP accounting and tax reporting Document and create internal controls
Cofacilitate the annual financial statement audit
Assist with process improvement initiatives
