Days & Hours: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Academic calendar: 3 terms, each 16 weeks; in person courses run late afternoon and evenings
BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Seeking an adjunct professor/instructor with an earned doctorate degree to teach a foundational doctoral course in Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis at Ageno School of Business, San Francisco CA, for Summer 2019 term. The course structure is in-person on campus and also web-enhanced, the holder of this position will teach doctoral level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Instruct doctoral students in one or more of the following career areas:
Contemporary approaches to qualitative analysis in business.Fundamental research issues (e.g., conceptual framework, design and assumptions of research, selection of appropriate methodology).Specifics of qualitative research (e.g., case study design & analysis, interviewing, coding verbal data, focus groups, action research, program evaluation, how to effectively present data and conclusions).Application of qualitative research techniques to open ended interviewing, focus groups, and case study approach.Use of qualitative research software.Philosophic foundations of knowledge.Effective display of data.
