As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the firm. Responsibilities Enter financial transactions into accounting and case management software Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role Knowledge of basic accounting and legal principles and procedures Proficiency in cloud software, and MS Office, especially Excel Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial and legal recordkeeping Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Paralegal or a related field is preferred Assist with filing, scanning, and document management Handle incoming and outgoing mail Pleasant telephone skills Obtain medical and other billing concerning client matters Requirements An Associate's degree in accounting, paralegal, or related field is preferred. Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of accounting software preferred Experience with Michigan Automobile Insurance PIP benefits is a strong plus Benefits

This is a full-time salaried position with a starting pay range of $31,200 to $42,500 depending on the candidate's experience and training. The first 90 days is probationary, after that, you'll receive increases in compensation by merit, paid time off and sick leave, and excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage.
