What You Will Do
HVI North Ohio heart is seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will have a primary focus on providing comprehensive care to outpatients and facilitating procedures such as pacemaker insertions, defibrillator insertions, loop records, and ablations just to name a few. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Electrophysiologists with patient evaluations, procedure education, and post-procedure follow up care. The candidate will work Monday - Friday in the outpatient electrophysiology clinic and will also assist with management of anticoagulant patients.

Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Work Experience 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
