TheAfter School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021) will be responsible for sourcing potential candidates for club membership and inputting information into our database from paper documents, be computer savvy, and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is required. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021)at our Elbaum Family Clubhouse (021) located in Brooklyn, NY.
This is a part-time position working 25 hours a week Monday through Friday in the afternoon. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021) Position: Identify and establish contact with potential parents and members through community outreach (via canvassing local area schools, residences, etc). Determine eligibility of new members into NYC funded contract program. Develop and maintain relationships with existing parents and members. Collect, review club membership applications, and evaluate credentials for general membership and eligibility for NYC funded contract programs. Type in data provided directly from Club Member applications into database systems. Other duties as required. Required Skills/Knowledge for the After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021) Position: High school degree or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred but not required. Experience as a data entry clerk. Typing skills (55+ wpm) and excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.) Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. Great attention to detail.
