Job Summary:
The AM Breakfast Cook at Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items in a timely and efficient manner. As part of the resort's culinary team, the AM Breakfast Cook will work in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service to guests and uphold the high standards of the resort's restaurant and hospitality services.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure quality and presentation of food meets or exceeds guest expectations
- Maintain clean and organized work station, following all safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate inventory needs to Executive Chef or Sous Chef for replenishment
- Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Assist in planning and execution of special events and promotions
- Adhere to resort's policies and procedures, including dress code and punctuality
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as required
- Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills in culinary techniques and industry trends
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a breakfast cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
