Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Artista del Sandwisch to join our dynamic team at Subway San Lorenzo. As a key member of our kitchen crew, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fresh and delicious sandwiches, salads, and snacks to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and snacks according to Subway's high standards for quality and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers as needed.
- Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and cleanliness guidelines at all times.
- Manage inventory levels and alert management to any stock shortages or concerns.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, contributing to a welcoming and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food preparation, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of basic math and the ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers a plus.
- Experience in a café or similar environment is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $11.00 per hour
