We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Environmental Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Science or a related field, along with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental inspections and remediation monitoring. This position will primarily involve working on projects for New York City Government Agencies, including DASNY.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and monitoring for environmental compliance, focusing on hazardous materials management. Implement and manage remediation projects in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform soil and groundwater sampling to assess contamination levels. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and project progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental standards are met. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in Environmental Science or a related discipline. Fully licensed with valid NYS DOL Certifications and HAZMAT certifications. Proven experience with environmental inspections involving hazardous materials. Hands-on experience with soil and groundwater sampling techniques. Familiarity with working on projects involving New York City Government Agencies, specifically DASNY.
