Associate Attorney

Robert Half is working with a client seeking an Associate Attorney. This position is ideal for someone who recently received their California Bar Admission and wants to practice personal injury.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform legal research and factual investigation on assigned cases.Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions.Review and negotiate settlements in conjunction with senior attorneys.Handle pre-litigation, litigation tasks, arbitrations, mediations and trials.Regularly interact with clients, insurance adjusters, and attorneys.Oversee case managers and claims, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with firm procedures.Act as liaison between lawyers, victims, and other parties involved.Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.Guide, mentor and provide professional development to the supporting staff members. Qualification:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Active member of the California State Bar.At least one year personal injury litigation experience preferred.Strong writing, research and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and problem-solve effectively.Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational abilities.Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with team and clients.Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
