What We Are Looking For We are looking to add an experienced Associate Attorney to our team immediately! The right person will be passionate about using the law to help our clients achieve great legal results. They will have the opportunity to be surrounded by peers who possess the experience in community association law that allows collaboration in finding solutions while assisting our clients with their legal needs.
This position is a great opportunity for someone that wants to join a firm where they will learn and grow including potential for partnership. We will provide a great deal of training and support to ensure that you are successful in your role. Job Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate, litigation, collections and/or community association law. Must be proficient in managing all facets of cases from inception to resolution, including written discovery, research, trial prep and court scheduled conferences.
Deliver high quality legal representation while providing the highest level of service to our valued clients.Draft motions, including motions for summary judgment and other dispositive motions.Complete case evaluations and opinion letters.Independently handle community association governance, CC&R enforcement, collections and litigation.Understands the importance of meeting billable hour goals.Complete legal transactional work on a regular basis.Very responsive to emails and phone calls.Takes ownership of their role and their team's performance.Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise; solution-oriented.Foster both internal and external client relationships with a customer centric focus. Job Requirements Must be licensed to practice law in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona. Admittance in California and/or Utah would be a plus.2-5 years' experience in collections law, community association law, and/or litigation.Associate level of experience; comfortable working in an autonomous environment.Ability to interact well with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.Comfortable with debt collection work, including communication with opposing parties in compliance with the FDCPAWillingness to accept responsibility and achieve high quality legal services.Comfortable with technology, learning new systems and working with numbers.
