Boston (Local/Remote Candidate w/ onsite for Photoshoots)
The Marketing and Communications Department (MarCom) at our world-class Healthcare client is searching for a talented Associate Creative Director who will play a critical role in implementing their brand across the healthcare system and find new, compelling ways to tell our story and propel the visual expression of our brand to the next level.

The Associate Creative Director will play an important role in bringing the brand to life by telling our story and helping patients find the care they need.
**Seeking Candidates LOCAL to the Boston area**– open to traveling for onsite photo/video shoots within the area (ideally within an hour commute and has reliable transportation). The Associate Creative Director will report to the Director of Creative, who heads up the creative team and oversees all creative design executions within MarCom and across the organization. The Associate Creative Director will manage a variety of design projects to ensure the creative needs of the entities are met in a high-quality, effective, thoughtful, timely and cost-effective manner.
With the Creative Director, the Associate Creative Director plays a critical role in developing and maintaining the visual strategy for the brand.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate Creative Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of creative initiatives, developing and mentoring creative talent and teams ensuring delivery of exceptional work that meets and exceeds expectations.

Support the creative director to set the visual standards and overall creative strategies for the client's brand along with the brand team.You Execute design strategies that support brand positioning and messaging goals for the brand, entities, programs and initiatives across the system:
Ensure coherence of design and brand standards across various entities, programs and affiliates within the Mass General Brigham system.You are a Design expert:
Develop designs and user experiences for all channels including the client's website, print, emails, mobile, video, etc.Understand the key opportunities presented by each media format and develop user experiences that take advantage of these channel distinctions.Support and coordinate the development of designs by other marketing personnel across the system to maintain a consistent approach to content presentation.Support and art direct video and photo projects on site at the client's local entities.You are a Productive force:

Help lead innovation in our design function consistent with the client's dedication to innovation in patient care and medical discovery.Adapt design strategies to take advantage of new learnings, including market research, measurement and analysis and client feedback.Manage and mentor colleagues to achieve high standards of excellence and professional growth.Find creative opportunities wherever possible and keep up to date on creative trends and technologies.Other duties as needed or required Qualifications: Strong understanding of designing and managing production for a range of media.Ability to manage and collaborate with a wide variety of vendors and agency partners.Impressive portfolio of communications projects displaying a keen aesthetic eye.Travel to all Mass General Brigham locations to supervise photo and video shoots.Preferred: Experience working in health care (nice to have).Deliver fresh thinking, innovative creative solutions and impactful storytelling.Exceptional ability to develop compelling creative across all media.Excellent typography, visual and verbal communications skills.Extensive experience creating animations, motion graphics and other digital media assets.Skills/Abilities: Leadership skills to educate, lead and inspire the creative, fostering a culture that places a premium on ideas, creativity, and innovation.Recognize the value that different perspectives and backgrounds bring to a team.Clear, friendly and confident communication with both clients and team members to help determine needs and timelines.Ability to envision a strong creative strategy to support and understand the organization's overall business strategy.Comfortable pushing back on client feedback to produce the best work possible.Ability to support, challenge and develop talent within the team, provide constructive feedback and collaborate effectively.Strategic planning skills to help steward the creative function within the MarCom department.Along with the Creative Director, manage strategy planning for the design function, including identifying and building relationships with creative partners, scheduling, workflows and general process documentation.Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Involved in project planning and budgeting, assignments to vendors and vendor management, including reviews of sketches, rough cuts and final animations/videos.Required: Bachelor's degree; advanced design degree strongly preferred.Minimum 10-15 years agency or marketing experience required.Track record of developing impactful work; developing, challenging and inspiring others to deliver their best work.Extensive experience partnering with creative peers.Deep understanding of marketing principles supporting the ability to manage a brand's visual identity effectively.The target hiring compensation for this role is the equivalent of up to $58.00-$62.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
