Job Title: Associate Director, Contract Development
Location: Boston, MA 02210 (3 days in-office)
Compensation: Up to $200K annual base salary plus bonus, equity, and benefits
Scope of Position / Overview of Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Contracts, this person will lead and manage US Market Access Contract processes by ensuring the seamless execution of pre- and post-deal analytics, negotiation, and administration for Payer, Provider and Trade & Distribution contracts. This will be an individual contributor role as part of a 5-person department.
Manage the end-to-end contract (Payer, Provider and Trade & Distribution) development processDraft/redline contract language and maintain contract templates, agreements, and amendmentsDevelop, maintain, and improve strong internal processes and documentationMaintain calendar, matrix of bids/offers, issues logFacilitate the transition of executed contracts to the appropriate operational teamWork effectively with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and optimize contracting opportunitiesStrong stakeholder collaboration and managementFacilitate timely in-depth analysis before and after contract negotiationsAssist Account Managers with ad-hoc analysis, business planning, and contract performance reviewUse financial models to perform and verify calculations for business scenarios and presentationsQualifications Minimum Bachelor's degreeMinimum 8 years of experience within payer contracting, contract administration and/or analytics experience -- including Market Access experienceTargeting 2+ years minimum demonstrated commercial biotech or pharmaceutical contract drafting experienceDemonstrated knowledge of the contracts and processes related to pharmaceutical pricing government programs and associated regulationsStrong stakeholder management experience
