Position: Associate Marketing Director, Hot Tools and Gold n' Hot

What you will be doing: The Associate Marketing Director will be responsible for overall business strategy, innovation strategy, and the go-to-market strategy for the business to improve sales and profits for Hot Tools and Gold n' Hot. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the consumer, the customer, and the competition, and turning insights into winning strategies to increase sales and share for the brand. The Marketing Director will plan, coordinate, direct, control, and provide leadership to achieve short-range and long-range business objectives. The role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will be supported by two direct reports.
Develop and supervise execution of category strategy and plans, including go-to-market commercialization plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, strategies, measures, schedules, and action assignments.Drive profitable growth across all categories of brands within area of responsibility, seeking opportunities to improve margin and gain market share.Will be responsible for overall strategy brief that advises the marketing communication work, as well as the overall budget that ties back to the P&L.Lead brand positioning work, architecture development, packaging design, and execution for the assigned brands.Build, manage, and ensure that approved budgeting for marketing expenses are driven with responsibility and ensure within fiscal requirements.Lead all aspects of development of annual sales forecasts and supervise the monthly issuance of the latest estimates to update the forecast.Skills needed to be successful in this role: Strong leadership skills and results oriented mentalityExperience in turning data into insights that drive creative marketing solutions and strategiesExcellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple projects at one timeConfirmed analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutionsProficient in building foundation of communication messages that can be performed across digital and retail packagingExperience building research plans and handling outside agencies to conduct researchExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including working with and presenting to upper management along with retailers in food/drug/prestige/mass channelsDemonstrate clear business results in existing or prior role that can articulate reason for considerationValidated experience successful handling new product development pipelineMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field desired8+ years of validated effective omnichannel marketing experience in the consumer products/beauty arenaProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience leading a team with a minimum of 1-2 direct reportsManage business operations with a portfolio exceeding $70 millionAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications: MBABenefits: Salary + Bonus, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) with company match, Basic Life Insurance, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Charitable (volunteer) Leave, and Educational Assistance.
