Gpac has partnered with a top CPA firm across in the Cihcago Metro that are looking for top talent to add to their team on a permanent-full-time basis! We are seeking a Audit Manager to assist in a variety of projects including but not limited to for-profit, not-for-profit, governmental, and employee benefit plan audits, as well as reviews and compilations.

Salary: $115,000 - $142,000+ (depedning on experience)

Qualifications: 5 + years of current audit experience within a public accounting firm Demonstrated supervisory experience Bachelor's degree CPA strongly preferred Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards NFP and EBP experience a big plus Ability and willingness to travel as needed (mostly local travel - a couple of out of state clients) Audit Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and special projects.
- Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues based on the relevant professional and technical guidance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based upon knowledge gained relative to the client's operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Assist the staff through counsel, guidance, and coaching.
- Evaluate performance on client engagements and improve internal processes where necessary.
- Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards.

Great work ethic. In 2-3 years there will be 3 partners retiring, so lots of growth potential. Most of the firm is young and they keep up on technology.
