Ay24-25 Adjunct Faculty - Biology

DescriptionG*overnors State University's*[ College of Arts and Sciences ](https://www.govst.edu/cas/)seeks to create an available pool of *Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach Biology* courses in the D*ivision of Science, Mathematics and Technology.* At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not tenure-track, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and are not included in membership of faculty Senate.
Required and Preferred Qualifications*Minimum Qualifications*

* Master's Degree in Biology or related field.

*Preferred Qualifications*
* PhD in Biology
* Experience teaching college level Biology.
* Professional experience in the Biology or Environmental Biology, fields.
* Experience in teaching Physiology.
* Professional experience in Biology such as Research or Consulting.
