Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including food safety and handling, meal preparation, and food presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to dietary department guidelines and regulations
- Support the culinary team in planning and preparing menus, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Utilize knives and other kitchen tools to prepare ingredients for cooking
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient and effective food production
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary techniques and trends
- Comply with all food safety and kitchen safety regulations
- Demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, food safety, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and regulations
- Experience with menu planning and preparation
- Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
- A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional dishes to customers
Skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
