Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevSecOps Engineer to support our initiatives in developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria while adhering to security best practices. With a strong background in Azure environments and extensive experience in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Docker, the ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor in implementing industry standards and driving continuous improvement. Must have current DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher is required for this position.

Qualifications Create/design/develop/manage DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab, Nexus, etc. Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools. Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria Manage self-directed assignments Meet schedule deadlines and commitments with a high-level of quality of deliverables Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice Recommend and implement industry standards Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline
Experience:
5+ years of DevSecOps experience Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure and DevSecOps environments Minimum 3 years of experience with application and operating system security Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Scrumban Minimum 3 years of experience creating Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm Experience with YAML and Groovy Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket Kubernetes, Docker Jenkins, Groovy, Gitlab, Nexus SonarQube, Fortify, OSCAP, Anchore Testing frameworks such as JUnit/TestNG/Mockito Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate strategic information security topics, policies, and standards as well as risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various organizational levels
Preferred Skills:
Certification in one or more cloud environments (Azure or AWS) Knowledge and experience working in DoD Azure environments Additional Information Compensation Pay Range: $135,000 - $185,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, qualifications, skill level, and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidate's background and the specific demands of the role.
