Job Description: Bell 412 Helicopter Maintenance Instructor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Bell 412 Helicopter Maintenance Instructor to provide comprehensive training to our Foreign Military Sale (FMS) customer. The position is located OCONUS. The ideal candidate should possess solid knowledge of Bell 412 systems and have prior experience in technical instruction.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Mechanical Systems Maintenance Course:
Provide thorough coverage of the description, function, and maintenance procedures required for field maintenance of the Bell 412 helicopter.
Teach theory and practice related to the fuselage, handling and ground service, main rotor, main rotor controls, main rotor transmission system, fuel system, tail rotor transmission system, tail rotor, hydraulic system, and flight controls.
Train students to troubleshoot and complete intermediate-level inspections.
Conduct Electrical/AFCS/Avionics Maintenance Course:
Provide theoretical and practical training for performing maintenance procedures on the electrical system, digital AFCS system, and standard avionics as per the Bell Maintenance Manual.
Teach functional tests, operational tests, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and removal and replacement of components.
Train students in the use of special tools, materials, or equipment needed for system repairs.
Conduct Engine Maintenance Course:
Provide theoretical and practical training for maintaining the PT6 engine, including functional tests, operational tests, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and engine installation and adjustment.
Train students in the use of special tools, materials, or equipment necessary for system repairs.
Conduct Advanced Maintenance Instructor Training Course:
Provide senior maintainers with educational techniques and tools to develop and instruct junior maintainers and create training programs that foster their development and advancement.
Teach methods to determine the root cause of errors by students/junior maintainers and perform root cause analysis on simulated errors.
Train instructor students to identify and correct common mistakes.
Requirements:
Previous experience in Bell 412 helicopter maintenance.
Deep knowledge of Bell 412 mechanical, electrical/AFCS/avionics, and engine systems.
Ability to teach and communicate effectively in both theory and practice.
Previous experience in technical instruction and training program development.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot efficiently.
