We are seeking a Mid-Market Benefits Analyst. The Benefits Analyst assists in all aspects of day-to-day client management as directed by members of the team. The Benefits Analyst supports client teams in developing benefit strategies and meeting client goals and objectives and in selecting programs that best meet the client's needs and financial requirements. The essential functions include data analysis, drafting client reports, RFP development, marketing analysis and vendor implementation.
The qualified candidate must have the ability to learn the spectrum of employer-sponsored health & welfare related plans, including federal and state regulations that impact these plans.
Your Impact: Under moderate supervision, collects, analyzes, and prepares information to facilitate requirements of client requests and/or support the activities of client team; outgoing client deliverables accurate and peer reviewed Fully support Consultants, Account Executives and Account Managers, including assigned tasks such as Forms 5500, policy review, gathering monthly carrier reporting, updating appropriate software with client information (e.g., BenefitPoint, AMS, etc) Assists in the project management of all assigned clients Proactively conducts research and produces financial analytics via collection, analysis, and interpretation of data for client deliverables Develops rate and financial spreadsheets Develops and assists in the execution of client RFPs via compilation and analysis of RFP results and follow up with insurance carriers Successful Candidates Will Have: BA/BS preferred 0 - 3+ years of health & welfare experience, meets majority of core practice competency-based skills Resourceful, proactive self-starter with the ability to think ahead Strong business acumen paired with intellectual curiosity Displays a commitment to professional growth and development, including training and mentoring Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Life, Accident and Health Insurance License within the first 90 days of employment

At Risk Strategies, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual base pay range for this position is between $65,000 - $80,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
