The Ortho Treatment Coordinator (OTC) will spend time with patients seeking Orthodontic care and answer questions related to planned treatment and corresponding fees. Ensuring that patients leave well informed with all their questions answered about treatment, insurance and payment, the OTC will promote a positive patient experience. Find your opportunity to make an impact:Get out into your communityparticipate in local events including school screenings, presentations and any opportunity to promote a positive image of usParticipate in morning huddles (hey, even ask to run one!), let your peers know how much you appreciate them, highlight great examples of customer focus, collaboration etc.Love working with kids (they make up 70% or more of our patient base) Responsibilities Presenting Orthodontic treatment plans and giving estimates of treatment costs in an effective mannerEducating and discussing the Orthodontist's treatment plan after diagnosed and reviewed by the clinical staff with the patientCollections tracking and monitoring, and any required patient follow-upExplain, promoting, and adhering to company payment policies and proceduresObtaining high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage, and finance optionsSolicit referrals from patients post treatment while at the same time tracking satisfaction with work providedContact patients/guarantors the day prior or the day of the appointment regarding fees due and to confirm the appointmentPerform to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programsOther duties, as they would benefit the support of the Orthodontist QualificationsHigh School Degree or GED Equivalent RequiredMinimum of 1+ years working experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in another practice is requiredMinimum of 3+ years of customer experience preferredX-ray certification preferred according to State and individual practicesHigh level knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment planning preferredStrong written and oral communication skills requiredAbility to articulate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic field, treatment plan presentations and CDT codes highly preferredKnowledge of dental insurances, service limits, PPO, Self Pay collections, and financing options preferredProficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) strongly preferredBilingual English-Spanish is a plusAdditional certification may be required dependent on locationWe Offer:Competitive compensationQuarterly bonuses based on Office performanceComprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, company holidays and much more!
