Billing Analyst

Well established and rapidly growing company seeking a skilled Billing Analyst. This position involves reviewing billing data, spotting discrepancies, and proposing enhancements to ensure invoices are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate should be experienced will running billing/invoicing for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate regularly with the Billing Manager to address billing issues, set priorities, enhance processes, and review billing status.
Propose improvements to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Examine billing data to identify issues and trends.
Keep accurate and comprehensive billing records and documentation.
Prepare complex Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Project Billing, and recurring billings for various environmental services.
Assist the supervisor with training, departmental changes, and special projects.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee projects, document creation, and process implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar accounting role, preferably in the environmental sector.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze billing data and identify trends and issues.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with billing software and systems (NetSuite and Salesforce) is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
