Biomedical Technician

Medimax-RSI, LLC. is a leading and fast growing Medical Imaging Equipment distributor for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean islands.
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing medical equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment
- Utilize schematics and OEM manuals to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used
- Provide field service support for medical devices as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment meets quality standards
- Utilize hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to medical devices
- Familiarity with computer hardware used in medical equipment
- Experience in calibrating medical devices
- Previous work in a field service capacity is a plus
